chicken adobo


ingredients:
• whole chicken cut up
• half head garlic
• half small onion (optional)
• 1/2 cup vinegar
• 1/2 cup soy sauce
• 1 cup water
• 3-4 bay leaf
• black pepper

directions:
1. in large pot, fry chicken to brown
2. push chicken to the side and saute garlic and onion
3. add vinegar, soy sauce, water, bay leaf and pepper
4. bring to boil then cover and simmer until chicken is fully cooked, the longer the better.

taste best the next day!
